Lasco Bean stew recipe

LASCO HAWAIIAN BEANS STEW

INGREDIENTS

1 can LASCO® Baked Bean 400g with liquid

1 can LASCO® Broad Beans 400g, drained

3 cloves garlic, minced

½ tsp. Black pepper

Tomato, diced

Onion, chopped

Sweet pepper, chopped

1 tbsp. parsley, chopped

1 can pineapple chunks, drained 

2 tbsp. LASCO® Ketchup

½ cup water OR reserved pineapple juice

Instructions

Step 1

In a large skillet, add onion, tomato, sweet pepper, and garlic to the pot, stir, and cook for 1 minute. 

Step 2  

Add LASCO Baked Beans, LASCO Butter Beans, and pineapple. Pour in reserved pineapple juice, add ketchup and bring to a boil then immediately reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. 

Step 3

Garnish with parsley.
